Manage License

The ChatGPT to Word or PDF extension allows you to manage your license and upgrade to a premium plan for additional features. Below are the steps to activate, deactivate, and upgrade your license.

Reaching the Free Limit

When you reach the monthly limit of the free plan (such as the number of exports available), you will see a Quota Exceeded message. At this point, you will no longer be able to export unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

• The message will offer two options:
  1. Upgrade to a Paid Plan: Click the Buy Now button to purchase any of the available plans.
  2. Enter License Key: If you already have a license, you can enter the license key to continue using the extension.

Activating the License

Once you’ve purchased a plan, you will receive a license key via email. To activate your license and unlock unlimited conversions:

1. Open the ChatGPT window where you are using the extension.
2. Click the settings gear icon in the top right corner of the window to open the settings menu.

3. In the settings menu, click on the Manage License option. This will open the License Management window.

4. Enter the license key you received via email in the provided field.

5. Click the Activate button to activate your license.

Once activated, the unlimited conversions feature will be unlocked, and you will no longer be subject to the monthly limits of the free plan.

Deactivating the License

To deactivate your license:

1. Open the License Management window again by clicking on the Manage License option in the settings.

2. In the License Management window, click on the Deactivate button.

   

3. Once deactivated, your account will revert to the free plan, and you will be subject to the free plan limits.

Tip: You can deactivate and reactivate your license at any time. Simply follow the activation steps again to re-enable unlimited conversions and remove the monthly export limits.
